Circumnavigation of the Wilbinga Conservation Park to pick out a few POI's where user groups like to frequently visit.
Participating was Brett Fitzgerald of DPaW PVS of the Swan Coastal District and Geoff Couper representing the Shacks Crew.
On our way in above...
Multiple tracks going everywhere, its hoped the signage will direct traffic to the beach better from the Southern Boundary first.
An example of some of the problems facing the land managers... this track goes nowhere to the top, it just stops.
Destroying virgin vegetation such as seen in the photo above doesn't assist in almost everyone maintaining sustainable access within the park.
Hmmm... which track now?
Maybe this one.
Some 4wd tracks are going to need some maintaining as the vegetation encroaches onto the track, very scratchy for the newer vehicles.
And again... which way to the beach?
So with the preliminary Reccie successfully completed in mapping a reasonable circumnavigationzl 4wd track of the Park - heading towards the Wilbinga Conservation Park cleanup the 17th of this Month, if you and your friends do like to recreate responsibly to maintain our future access to the awesome park, please consider lending a helping hand and contribute come the 17th of May.
