Annual Clean-up

As usual, Parks and Wildlife are putting on a lunchtime BBQ for everyone (DBCA volunteers once registered).

Just a basic sweep of the park to cleanup and for those wanting to do the beaches as well, thats your call,

We are all covered under DBCA community involvement insurance scheme but only within the Park itself and only if registered as a DBCA volunteer.

These volunteer registrations encourage Government funding directed at the Park for such things as signage and 4wd track rationalisation.

Being the beaches are classed as UCL, its your call if you want to enter onto the beaches and cleanup there too, the insurance won't cover the beaches.

Goodness knows the beaches need attention - for sure, please enter at your own risk.

And to meet and greet other like-minded people, clubs and social media groups that enjoy the park throughout the year and even coming years - 'access for the future'.

This is an ongoing project that does help to keep Wilbinga open for responsible outdoor recreation which is achieved collectively.

All the Shacks Crew do is host the event with many people, clubs and groups taking part and playing their own individual roles.

This is the 8th annual cleanup event we've been hosting.

This event generates Government funding for the park that helps with sustainable future access.
